Contractor - QA ISO 19443 Support

NOTE: This is a staff augmentation contract position anticipated to be 40 hours/week for 6-9 months. Work will be done remotely with travel as needed. Candidates MUST have experience implementing ISO 19443:2018 in commercial nuclear. POSITION SUMMARY: This job provides ISO 19443:2018 quality assurance program development and implementation support including: development and evaluation of quality assurance procedures and instructions; and interface with NuScale organizations performing activities affecting quality. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Supports development, evaluation, and maintenance of NuScale ISO 19443:2018 quality assurance program processes including writing instructions, procedures, and other requirement and guidance documents for the quality assurance program. - Reviews NuScale Level 2 and higher procedures for compliance with the Quality Management Plan (QMP) and the Quality Assurance Program Description (QAPD). - Managing and coordinating with accreditation body on steps to obtain ISO 19443:2018 certification - Performs other duties as assigned. MINIMUM SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES: - Education/Certification: A minimum of a B.S. or B.A degree. A technical degree is preferred. Ten plus years of directly applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. - Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience associated with development and/or implementation of nuclear quality assurance programs. Commercial nuclear plant experience or work in the nuclear field is preferred. Demonstrated experience in quality oversight. Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 19443:2018 is required. - Industry Requirements: Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810. - Overall Job Knowledge and Performance: Understanding of quality assurance concepts, principles, and theories. - Skills: Technical writing skills. Good communication, computer, presentation and interpersonal skills. Exceptional organization skills and ability to manage complex projects with multiple work phases.
