Low Voltage Security System Installation Technician
Harker Security
• Install, configure, and test low voltage systems including: Security alarm systems, Video surveillance systems, Access control systems • Run and terminate low voltage wiring • Mount and align cameras, sensors, and control panels • Troubleshoot system issues and perform repairs or upgrades • Ensure installations meet company standards and local codes • Provide basic training to customers on system usage • Maintain accurate documentation of work completed • Travel to customer sites as required (regional and/or nationwide).
Job Requirements
- Experience as a Low Voltage Technician, Cable Installer, Alarm Technician, or Security Installer
- Working knowledge of low-voltage wiring, networks, and electronic security systems
- Knowledge of: CCTV systems, Alarm systems, Access control systems
- Familiarity with networking basics (IP addressing, routers, switches)
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and cable testing equipment
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders
- Willingness to travel frequently and as needed
