Virtual Event Host – French Speaker

• Be the host for a variety of fun, engaging, high-quality virtual volunteering, team building, and wellness activities for Visit.org’s corporate partners over Zoom • Welcome, engage, and inspire participants while supporting nonprofits in facilitating online events • Coordinate all admin tasks as Zoom Host during the event to ensure a smooth experience for participants: ie. overseeing the waiting room, putting teams in breakout rooms for varying times, sending links in the chat, taking screenshots, generally being a great side-kick to the nonprofit representative leading the event
Job Requirements
- Background in acting, comedy, improv, or similar profession that requires engaging and interacting with an audience
- Experience with group facilitation and managing group dynamics
- Bilingual in French and English (Spanish is a plus)
- Based in the EMEA region
- High energy and a positive attitude
- Quick thinker—sometimes during events things go wrong; you can problem-solve on the fly
- Extremely comfortable with and enjoys public speaking
- Excellent customer service and presentation skills
- Reliable high-speed internet and a computer with a webcam are required

About the Role We are seeking a Marketing & Events Manager to join our growing team and help support the continued development of Ledgebrook’s brand, communications, and industry presence. As a fast-growing MGA, Ledgebrook is building a modern, high-performing organization and our communications and marketing capability is evolving alongside the business. This role will play an important part in helping us deliver high-quality internal and external communications while expanding Ledgebrook’s presence across key industry events and channels. You will work closely with teams across the company to plan and deliver communications initiatives, coordinate marketing activity, and manage Ledgebrook’s growing program of internal and external events. From industry conferences and broker events to internal communications and content development, this role will help ensure Ledgebrook communicates clearly, consistently, and effectively as we scale. This role sits within our ‘Office’ team and in addition to leading marketing and events activity, will also provide support to the executive team, coordinating priorities such as calendar and travel management. As a result, this is a highly visible, cross-functional role that requires strong organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to seamlessly balance strategic marketing initiatives with day-to-day operational support. This role provides day to day coordination, documentation, and employee support throughout the leave lifecycle. The coordinator works under the guidance of the Leave & Disability Program Manager and senior team members to ensure timely communication, accurate recordkeeping, and compliance with applicable laws and policies. Your qualifications should include: Minimum Education: - Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. (In lieu of degree: 2 additional years of relevant experience may substitute). Minimum Experience: - Minimum 2 years of experience in leave administration, HR coordination, disability management, or related HR support role in a healthcare or large organizational setting. - Basic familiarity with FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA/FEHA, and other applicable leave laws. - Working knowledge of state and federal employment-related legislation affecting leaves and disability accommodation. Ability to handle confidential information professionally and in compliance with privacy requirements. Preferred Exp/Cert: - Subject matter expertise in Leave of Absence administration, the ADA interactive process, and/or return to work coordination. - Designation as a Certified Disability Management Professional (CDMP).
