This role is supports the administration of City of Hope’s leave programs, including occupational leaves, non occupational leaves, return to work processes, and reasonable accommodation activities. This role provides day to day coordination, documentation, and employee support throughout the leave lifecycle. The coordinator works under the guidance of the Leave & Disability Program Manager and senior team members to ensure timely communication, accurate recordkeeping, and compliance with applicable laws and policies. As a successful candidate, you will: - Serves as a primary point of contact for employees with questions about leave eligibility, entitlements, required documentation, and related benefit - Provides guidance to employees and managers on standard leave processes, timelines, and steps; escalates complex or sensitive cases to senior staff as appropriate. - Understands the integration between FMLA, STD, Workers' Compensation, ADA, and other federal and state leave laws. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding disability management and Workers’ Compensation. - Supports the return to work process for non occupational and occupational leaves by gathering required information, preparing documents, and scheduling follow up steps. - Assist in monitoring employee leave of absence progress and ensuring that updated work status documentation is obtained - Monitor the employee’s progress, making necessary adjustments to return-to-work plans based on their medical status and company’s business operations. - Helps develop and maintain return to work documentation, including tracking modified-duty and transitional assignments. - Assists in coordinating the ADA interactive process—collecting medical documentation, preparing case files, scheduling meetings, and supporting follow up activities. - Provide leave of absence consultation, answer questions regarding entitlements and provide information regarding available benefits throughout the leave lifecycle. - Determine and reconcile supplemental disability pay and leave accruals in coordination with leave administrator, Payroll, and other internal partners. - Upholds confidentiality and practices a high level of integrity in handling sensitive medical and employee information. - Provides administrative and operational assistance to the Leave & Disability Manager and Workers’ Compensation Program Manager. - Supports process improvement efforts and helps identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance employee experience. - Collaborates with internal and external partners during program implementations or updates. Your qualifications should include: Minimum Education: - Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. (In lieu of degree: 2 additional years of relevant experience may substitute). Minimum Experience: - Minimum 2 years of experience in leave administration, HR coordination, disability management, or related HR support role in a healthcare or large organizational setting. - Basic familiarity with FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA/FEHA, and other applicable leave laws. - Working knowledge of state and federal employment-related legislation affecting leaves and disability accommodation. Ability to handle confidential information professionally and in compliance with privacy requirements. Preferred Exp/Cert: - Subject matter expertise in Leave of Absence administration, the ADA interactive process, and/or return to work coordination. - Designation as a Certified Disability Management Professional (CDMP). What you’ll do: This role is responsible for leading the strategy, planning, and execution of physical experiences across Stripe Sessions and Stripe Tour with a focus on the expo and campus-wide activations. This person will concept and deliver physical experiences that showcase Stripe’s products and customer stories, while managing logistics, timelines, and coordination across internal teams. The role reports into the Stripe Sessions and Stripe Tour event lead and is expected to present recommendations for consideration. Responsibilities: Strategy and concept development - Drive the experiential strategy across the full event campus by identifying creative opportunities to shape the attendee journey as a whole. This includes the expo, lobby spaces, foyers, and other areas across the venue that shape the overall attendee experience. - Oversee all aspects of expo experiential design and campus-wide activations, ensuring cohesive, immersive experiences that reflect Stripe’s goals, highlight products and customer stories, and support specific audience needs. - Concept and lead physical experiences that bring Stripe products and customer stories to life. This includes spaces like audience pavilions, product showcases, and themed activations. - Propose and develop new spaces for targeted attendees segments, industries, verticals or customer story activations. - Partner with marketing, product, comms, and creative teams to understand business priorities and identify stories or moments that should be reflected in the environment. - Align with creative and brand teams to ensure activations meet Stripe’s design standards and quality bar. Planning and execution - Design and manage the placement of all expo elements to optimize attendee flow, visibility, and engagement. This includes sponsor booths, Stripe demos, theaters, food and beverage, and experiential activations. - Lead internal demo planning and staffing, ensuring each experience is clearly scoped, strategically placed, and fully prepared to support product storytelling at scale. - Manage all expo activations from early planning through onsite execution, ensuring cross-functional alignment and high-quality delivery. - Own the run of show for expo build and live event days, coordinating vendor timelines and internal workbacks across all activation areas. - Collaborate with the sponsorship team to deliver partner activations that are well placed, well built, and aligned with sponsorship goals. - Connect silos and socialize changes, proactively anticipating risks and providing actionable solutions for escalation. - Navigate challenges and blockers with ease, always seeking proactive solutions and looking ahead to ensure successful outcomes. - Operations and vendor management - Work with internal teams to intake information, clarify goals, and recommend creative, on-budget activation solutions. Set clear expectations on scope, timelines, and ownership. - Own day-to-day coordination with production vendors, including layout planning, lighting, AV, electrical, rigging, and build logistics. - Review vendor proposals critically and push for custom, event-specific solutions.
