VP, Payer Partnerships
Talkspace
• Cultivate and manage relationships with senior executives and decision-makers at high-priority and assigned accounts. • Understand industry trends, challenges, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic initiatives. • Assist with business development initiatives and partnerships to drive referrals. • Upsell other Talkspace lines of business to assigned accounts as well as sell to other payor lines of business. • Develop and present compelling proposals, showcasing the value of Talkspace's solutions to clients. • Oversee the sales cycle for new payer accounts, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure. • Foster collaboration across internal departments to ensure successful implementation and delivery of services. • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to tailor Talkspace's offerings to meet clients' specific requirements. • Lead contract negotiations with national payers to secure favorable reimbursement rates, terms, and conditions that support the financial sustainability and growth objectives of the organization, including value-based contracting opportunities. • Resolve escalated payer/client complaints which could affect Talkspace’s relationship with the payer. • Monitor state and federal legislation related to payment initiatives and policy changes that could impact negotiations with health plans. • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- 10 years experience in managing payer relationships and contracting (negotiation, implementation, account management of payer relations in healthcare).
- 5+ years in behavioral healthcare, preferably at a regional or national level.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with senior clinicians, C-suite executives, and other community leaders to execute the strategic vision set forth by the Chief Growth Officer.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess client needs and develop customized solutions.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Google Sheets, and more) and sales tools to track progress and manage relationships.
- Strong skills in preparing comprehensive presentations and utilizing social media and modern marketing platforms across territories.
- Results-oriented attitude with a track record of exceeding sales targets and goals.
- Comfort with public speaking and presenting.
