Software QA Analyst

Milliman

• Develop, maintain, and execute functional test cases, suites and plans using Azure Test Plans. • Analyze, document, and track defects and other related issues from discovery to resolution. • Define testable acceptance criteria against which system functionality will be evaluated. • Actively participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and sprint reviews (including product demonstrations). • Proactively learn product functionality and become a passionate advocate of the user experience. • Perform SQL queries as needed against MS-SQL databases.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience testing web applications.
  • Experience creating, running, and maintaining functional test cases.
  • Knowledge of health & welfare systems or employee benefit enrollment systems is a plus.
  • Experience developing and executing SQL queries.
  • Experience testing REST APIs.
  • Experience with Insomnia is a plus.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Test Plans, or Microsoft Test Manager is a plus.
  • Ability to test and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality Assurance team is responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of the NuScale quality assurance program (QAP), including supplier and internal oversight activities. The team is also responsible for reviewing the current QAP against new regulations, standards and quality requirements to determine steps necessary for compliance. An individual in this role provides subject matter expertise and leadership, including guidance, regarding compliance with applicable nuclear regulatory requirements as well as the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC). Frequent communications within the QA team as well as with other groups and departments as well as supplier, both written and verbal, is a key component of this role. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develops, evaluates, and maintains NuScale quality assurance program processes including writing instructions, procedures, and other requirement and guidance documents for the quality assurance program. - Reviews QAPD and NQAM for continuing compliance to Codes and regulations, identifying opportunities for improvement. Also reviews Level 2 and higher NuScale procedures for compliance with the Quality Assurance Program Description (QAPD) and the Nuclear Quality Assurance Manual (NQAM). - Recommends and implements program improvements, enhancements and recommended changes.
