Technical Project Manager
Vultr
• Manage project statuses and ensure technical work, dependencies, and risks are accurately captured and reported. • Assist with departmental reporting by translating engineering progress into clear, concise updates for leadership. • Work with engineering teams to capture current and future work prioritization, including technical requirements, constraints, and tradeoffs. • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met. • Documentation: Maintain project timelines, task lists, and statuses. • Stakeholder Management: Regularly communicate project status, risks, and issues with key stakeholders. • Assist with engineering team planning and roadmapping, ensuring technical capacity, dependencies, and platform considerations are accounted for.
Job Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience as a technical project manager or in a project role supporting engineering, infrastructure, or software development teams.
- 1-2 years experience with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Asana, Trello, or similar)
- Experience working in a remote environment
- Experience putting together technical project status reports
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Strong communication skills
- ‘In service to’ mindset with respect to the team's processes and communication practices.

Overview: We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to play a critical role in the success of our upcoming Microsoft 365 program. This role will partner closely with a Microsoft 365 Architect and shared stakeholders to drive planning, coordination, and execution across the initiative. The program will focus on migrating from internal file shares to OneDrive, transitioning to SharePoint Online, and re-evaluating the organization’s use of Microsoft Teams and related Microsoft 365 policies. This role is responsible for program leadership, delivery management, and change orchestration, ensuring technical decisions translate into executable plans and successful outcomes.
