You will work collaboratively with the design, copy, and media team’s to deliver patient-facing web content to facilitate impactful patient recruitment campaigns. Responsibilities: - Dual role including responsibilities for front end website development/coding and website content management - Strong understanding of impactful website layout and creative design to enhance audience targeting - Able to program in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery - Proficient in responsive web design - Overflow work related to identifying/facilitating improvements to ICON’s internal web content management system to streamline workflows - Overflow work related to graphic design & advertising development What you need? - 3-5 years+ of front-end web development experience - Experience in clinical trials and drug development space preferred - Bachelor's degree - Advanced English #LI-RD1 What ICON can offer you: Our success depends on the quality of our people. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable frontend solutions. • Build, test, and deploy high-quality frontend features using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and shared libraries. • Work across both monolithic and microfrontend architectures, contributing to modularization and reusable components. • Ensure robust observability and monitoring using tools such as Sentry and Grafana proactively identifying and addressing issues. • Participate in on-call support rotations, helping maintain system stability and performance. • Drive technical initiatives and improvements, contributing to codebase health, developer experience, and best practices. • Mentor team members, provide constructive feedback, and foster knowledge sharing across the team.

• Architect and build a highly performant, intuitive, and data-rich user interface using React and TypeScript. • Co-own the frontend architecture — component design, state management, and overall structure. • Work closely with product, design, and backend engineers to define user experience. • Ship production code from week one and deliver significant user-facing features within three months. • Leverage AI and agentic coding tools to accelerate development. • Mentor other engineers and drive frontend best practices across the team.
