• We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive our growth and build strategic relationships to support our mission. • You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, initial engagement, negotiation, and long-term contract management. • This high-impact strategic role sits at the intersection of sales, strategy, and innovation. • It involves close collaboration with our internal teams (product and regulatory) and combines business development, market vision, and innovation. • You will also represent Platomics at professional events and help structure our expansion across European markets.
Job Requirements
- Comfortable with prospecting activities (calls, emails, social selling) and able to build, qualify, and maintain a structured sales pipeline.
- Proficiency in sales methodologies and the ability to apply them smoothly and naturally.
- Experience conducting contract negotiations and managing long-term partner relationships.
- Ability to operate in complex regulatory and legal environments, and to align stakeholders with diverse interests.
- Good knowledge of the healthcare sector, MedTech, or in vitro diagnostics (IVD).
- Excellent communication skills, ability to quickly build trust and collaborate effectively within a distributed team.
- Curiosity, resilience, and the ability to solve complex problems in a fast-changing environment.
- Results-oriented, proactive, and autonomous in execution.
- Fluent English (company working language).
- Native/Fluent French required; Spanish is a plus.

Role Description As a Business Development Manager in Hitachi Energy's Service Business, you will play a pivotal role in expanding service offerings and strengthening customer partnerships within the power grid sector. You'll focus on discovering and validating new business opportunities, particularly in the company (C&I) segment, and work closely with customers to understand their operational needs.
