This role focuses on identifying what is truly driving GMV, uncovering winning patterns, and translating data into clear actions that scale high-performing content while eliminating inefficiencies. Key Responsibilities Performance Tracking & Reporting - Track and analyze performance across creators, content, and campaigns - Monitor key metrics including GMV, ROAS, CTR, hook rate, watch time, and conversion rates - Build and maintain dashboards and reporting systems to surface real-time insights Creator & Content Analysis - Identify top-performing creators and content driving the highest revenue impact - Break down winning content into key variables (hooks, formats, messaging, timing, etc.) - Evaluate underperforming content and diagnose root causes Insight Generation & Strategy Support - Translate data into actionable insights for creative, influencer, and media buying teams - Provide clear recommendations on where to double down, iterate, or cut spend - Partner closely with Content Strategists to refine messaging and creative direction Testing & Optimization - Support structured testing frameworks across creators and content variations - Measure test performance and ensure learnings are documented and applied - Continuously refine KPIs and benchmarks based on evolving performance data Playbook & Knowledge Building - Develop and maintain performance playbooks based on top-performing content and creators - Create standardized reporting and insight-sharing processes across teams - Ensure insights are systematically fed back into content production and scaling efforts Success Metrics - Accuracy and clarity of performance insights delivered - Impact of insights on GMV growth and content efficiency - Speed of identifying winning vs. underperforming content - Adoption of insights across creative and growth teams

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in analytics, growth, or performance marketing within DTC/ecommerce
  • Strong understanding of content performance metrics tied to revenue (GMV, ROAS, CAC, etc.)
  • Experience analyzing short-form content performance (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts)
  • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel); experience with BI tools is a plus
  • Ability to synthesize large data sets into clear, actionable insights
  • Strong attention to detail with a results-oriented mindset
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with influencer or UGC-driven brands
  • Familiarity with attribution models and tracking across paid and organic channels
  • Experience collaborating with creative and media buying teams

Qualifications - A degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or similar), and 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, analytics engineering, or a similar data field. - Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred). - Experience with modern data warehousing (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake). - Familiarity with data modeling, ETL frameworks, and analytics tools. - Strong communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. - Comfortable with ambiguity; able to thrive with minimal oversight and process - Prior experience in ad tech, streaming, technology, or consumer-facing products is a plus. Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $330,000.00 - $566,000.00. This compensation range will vary based on location. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits.
