This is a remote position. AI Security Specialist Overview We are seeking an AI Security Specialist to design, implement, and monitor security controls for AI-driven applications, data platforms, and cloud environments. This role will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems operating across AWS, Azure, Tableau, Power BI, and DealCloud CRM integrations, with a specific focus on risks unique to AI/ML systems and data pipelines. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong background in cloud security and data protection, with growing expertise in securing AI-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities - Design and implement security controls across cloud environments (AWS, Azure) supporting AI and data platforms - Identify and mitigate risks related to AI/ML systems, including: - Data poisoning - Model leakage - Unauthorized access to models or datasets - Ensure secure data handling and governance across ETL/ELT pipelines and analytics platforms - Implement and monitor identity and access management (IAM) policies across systems - Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk analyses - Support secure integration of systems including BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and CRM platforms (DealCloud) - Collaborate with engineering, data, and DevOps teams to embed security best practices into system design - Monitor systems for security threats, anomalies, and incidents - Support incident response and remediation efforts related to security events - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements - Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation Requirements Required Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Cloud Security, or Information Security roles - Strong experience securing AWS and/or Azure environments - Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) - Experience with identity and access management (IAM) and role-based access controls - Experience with data security, encryption, and secure data pipelines - Familiarity with network security, application security, and vulnerability management - Experience with security tools (e.g., SIEM, endpoint protection, cloud security tools) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Key Traits for Success - Strong security mindset with attention to detail - Ability to anticipate and mitigate emerging risks in AI environments - Collaborative approach working with engineering and data teams - Proactive and adaptable in a rapidly evolving technology landscape - Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

This position is remote in nature but requires full-time travel to customer locations throughout the week.
