Zayo is seeking a Critical Infrastructure Engineer with significant experience in common systems engineering standards (RBOC,AT&T, or major telecommunications provider). Our Critical Infrastructure Engineer will design and specify material for AC and DC power equipment including commercial AC power building entries, switchboards, transformers, generators, UPS backup systems, rectifiers, power distribution, batteries, grounding systems, fire control systems, HVAC, and additional materials required to support installation. This role will also maintain central office records, including updates to floor plans and front equipment drawings to reflect installations and complete capacity management reports for all AC and DC power equipment. Responsibilities: ● Manage Contracted Maintenance vendors for callout repairs, and quoted service repairs on CI systems to include invoicing and quoted PR submittals. ● Develop of best operating practices and standards. ● Write Method of Procedures (MOPs) for all CI equipment repairs and augments. ● Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with approved MOPs. ● Evaluate vendor/contractor field service reports describing all activities (preventive maintenance, repairs, etc.) performed on the CI equipment. ● Resolve operational deficiencies discovered on Preventive Maintenance Inspections(PMI) and on Contractor PMs. ● Assist Field Operations and NCC/NOC technicians with Operation Support issues, that may require vendor or manufacturer support. ● Develop reliability reports to assist in identifying areas of concern that could develop into future problems. ● Subject Matter Expert on CI equipment issues for all PG’s and advises them on solutions for technical problems or barriers. ● Manage all CI augment projects (CapEx/OpEx) to affect break/fix repairs. ● Environmental Compliance and to ensure all permitting is completed annually. ● CI Equipment inventory accuracy and Data Integrity in SF and M6. Education & Experience: ● Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, and or Civil Engineering or equivalent experience. ● Minimum of five (5) years in a telecommunications of all Critical Infrastructure (CI) equipment: AC power distribution, buildings, grounding, fire systems, generators, ATS/MTS, Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS), DC Power Plant Systems, and Cooling systems to ensure operational integrity, improve efficiency and reduce operational costs ● Experience in Microsoft Office, SalesForce, and Database applications ● Project Management experience Estimated Based Pay Range: $77,100 - $90,000 USD/annually The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. • Coordinate the continued implementation of sustainable infrastructure and clean energy transition projects, including monitoring and evaluation. • Monitor project progress throughout its lifecycle and proactively and regularly alert the program coordinator of any obstacles or delays in activities or deliverables. • Review the technical, financial, policy, and regulatory frameworks guiding infrastructure development in Peru, with focus in the Amazon, including the relevant institutional roles and capacities of public and private stakeholders that will enable the adoption of environmental and social considerations. • Provide technical support for integrating sustainability into infrastructure and clean energy plans, program and projects, planning strategies, coordination spaces, and financing mechanisms to reduce the adverse impacts of infrastructure development. • Design and develop conservation strategies for infrastructure and clean energy applying the mitigation hierarchy. • Engage and coordinate with government, NGO conservation partners, development partners, indigenous organizations, academia, and the private sector. • Coordinate risks management, collaboratively resolve issues and conflicts using project management processes, ensuring compliance with organizational standards. • Provide technical information and guidance related to project development, collaborative agreements, national policy support, technical capacity requirements, etc., based on analysis, experience, and context. • Support the strategic planning for the Infrastructure Program (theory of change, metrics), resource mobilization and assist in writing grant proposals to access funding for research and conservation projects related to infrastructure and clean energy. • Contribute to science-based analysis, reports, publications, and presentations to communicate research findings to diverse audiences. • Coordinate budgets, contracts and vendor negotiations. • Coordinate data management and develop content/reports to meet reporting requirements and other communication needs, including TNC internal reports, donor reports, impact reports, and other ad hoc requests. • Organize workshops, meetings, or consultations necessary to perform the duties of the position. • Ensure program compliance with internal policies and external requirements. • Ability and willingness to travel nationally and internationally to conferences, workshops, symposia, and other infrastructure and clean energy-related meetings, including nights and weekends, ensuring alignment with program objectives. • Work may involve variable weather conditions, remote locations, and physically demanding circumstances.

• Assist in maintaining and improving our data warehousing systems (AWS DMS, Redshift). • Support the team in monitoring data pipelines, identifying issues, and troubleshooting basic problems. • Write and optimize SQL queries for analytics and data validation. • Collaborate with engineers and analysts to understand data needs and support use cases. • Participate in testing, documentation, and improving reliability of data systems. • Identify and automate repetitive daily manual processes, reducing operational overhead and improving team efficiency. • Learn and explore new tools and technologies in the data ecosystem.

• Lead and operate vulnerability management across infrastructure, platforms, and applications - including internal scans, dependency analysis, and external findings, validating true positives and driving remediation with engineering teams • Build, operate, and mature SIEM/XDR capabilities, including log ingestion, detection rule development, alert tuning, and investigation workflows • Investigate and respond to security incidents across cloud infrastructure and applications, performing root cause analysis and driving long-term fixes • Design and implement detection strategies for suspicious activity, including data exfiltration patterns using application and database telemetry • Lead and contribute to threat modeling exercises and security design reviews to identify risks early and strengthen architecture • Apply deep expertise in AWS and Kubernetes to design, secure, and improve resilient and secure cloud infrastructure at scale • Drive infrastructure and CI/CD hardening initiatives, with a focus on reducing software and container supply chain risk • Lead efforts to implement and improve dependency and container supply chain risk detection systems and controls • Partner closely with engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and improve secure development and deployment practices • Support and implement security controls aligned with PCI DSS, SOC 2, and other compliance requirements • Develop and implement automation (including AI where appropriate) to improve efficiency in security operations, detection, and response • Triage and validate external security findings, distinguishing true positives and coordinating remediation
