• Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline that ensures the company has access to qualified, committed volunteers who can effectively support our mission-driven projects and initiatives. • Serve as the central hub for connecting talent needs with qualified volunteers.
Job Requirements
- Collaborate closely with project leaders and requestors to clearly define volunteer role requirements and expectations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all volunteer recruitment needs across the organization
- Ensure thorough understanding of each role's objectives, scope, and impact before beginning recruitment
- Source qualified candidates using the volunteer database and broader community networks
- Leverage multiple channels including website, LinkedIn, Discord, and other appropriate platforms for role distribution
- Proactively identify and engage potential volunteers based on emerging organizational needs
- Build and maintain relationships with key talent communities and networks
- Evaluate candidates to assess their skills, experience, and fit for specific roles
- Confirm volunteer interest, availability, and commitment levels before proceeding
- Connect qualified volunteers with requestors in a timely and efficient manner
- Facilitate introductions and provide context about each candidate's strengths and fit
- Ensure smooth handoff between recruitment and onboarding processes
- Follow up systematically to ensure roles are successfully filled in a timely manner
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date volunteer tracking system
- Identify bottlenecks and continuously improve recruitment processes
- Work closely with the On-Boarding & Engagement Team to ensure seamless volunteer experiences
- Share insights about volunteer trends and organizational needs
- Provide feedback to help refine role definitions and recruitment strategies
- Support the development of scalable recruitment systems and processes.
