Manager – Systems Engineering

CVS Health

• automating, optimizing, and modernizing virtualization environments for Enterprise Managed File Transfer infrastructure • ensuring the reliability, performance, optimization, and security of CVS Health's MFT Infrastructure systems • managing the MFT infrastructure which spans over multiple datacenters and virtual environments

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of operational experience with IBM Sterling Suite (Sterling Integrator, Sterling File Gateway, MQ, ITX/WTX, ITXA, IBM Control Center, Sterling Secure Proxy, Secure External Authentication Server)
  • 3+ years of programming experience (Perl, SQL, Unix script, Python, JAVA, PHP)
  • Operational experience with Axway Secure Transport
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Knowledge of AI integrations
  • Red Hat Linux
  • Experience in DevOps principles, automation strategies, and advanced container orchestration, with an understanding of tools such as Kubernetes
  • Strong scripting and automation skills
  • Familiarity with security and compliance standards, such as HIPAA and NIST
  • Experience and knowledge of additional MFT technologies like GoAnywhere, Seeburger, Ipswitch

The Quality Systems Specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining The Jackson Laboratory’s electronic Quality Management System (eQMS). This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management system projects and support existing QMS operations. The Specialist ensures compliance with established standards, monitors and assesses global quality processes and drives continuous improvement to enhance customer satisfaction. The salary range is $65,018 - $108,857. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience. The candidate hired into this role will be able to work remotely and travel to JAX sites as needed (10%). Key Responsibilities (What you contribute) ​: - Design, implement, and maintain improvements to quality management system in accordance with JAX standards and regulatory requirements. - Support important Quality Management System processes, including by not limited to, Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), Deviations, Document Control, Change Management, Auditing and Supplier Management. - Assist staff in effective management and adherence to compliance standards for various eQMS elements. - Contribute to the enhancement of the overall eQMS, responsibilities including maintenance and administration of eQMS components, creation, review, verification, and approval of system documentation. - Generate and analyze metrics about assigned Quality Management element(s) for leadership. - Identify areas for improvement within the QMS and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Assume other projects and duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. - Assist in the development and implementation of eQMS-related training programs and materials.
