Join us to invest in yourself, your career, and the financial world. The role We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our CyberDigital squad in Switzerland. You will play a pivotal role in helping create and share the engineering culture on a new team. You have experience leading the design, implementation and operations of multi-channel platforms that can be managed or deployed on-prem. You excel at aligning business goals and technical requirements while providing clarity in risk management and trade-offs. As an Engineering Manager you will also be responsible for nurturing the career and professional development of a team of up to 10 engineers of various levels and skillsets What you’ll do - Own the team’s technical vision and timely delivery execution of commitments - Create sustainability and collective ownership for the squad - Collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure alignment and proactively communicate progress. - Understanding of the technical complexities of creating a multi-channel, white-labeled global digital banking platform. - Ensure reliable, secure, and scalable engineering practices - Foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and customer-centric thinking - Ability to provide team predictability and collaborate with leadership in scope and capacity planning exercises. - Take initiative and produce timely results in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment. What you’ll need - Bachelor’s Degree, Computer Science Degree, or equivalent from a fully-accredited college or university. - 6+ years of Java programming experience. - Our core stack is Java/React, and we run on Kubernetes in a microservices architecture. - 3+ years of experience working in full stack, multi-channel products - A proven understanding of web standards,performance, best practices, security and browser internals. - Willingness to roll up your sleeves, collaborate with others, and get stuff done. - Solid sense of responsibility; driving a project from inception to completion. - Proven experience in production operations and support. - Experience working in a collaborative coding environment, refining designs together, working through code reviews, and managing pull requests. Technology requirements - Experience with ReactJS - Experience with Java and NodeJS - Solid understanding of web technologies and standards: - Security best practices (XSS, CSRF, auth flows, secure storage, etc.) - API integration (REST, GraphQL) - JavaScript / TypeScript - HTML5, CSS3, responsive design - Modern build and tooling ecosystems (Webpack, Vite, npm/yarn/pnpm, etc.) - Mobile native/hybrid development (ReactNative, Cordova, Swift, Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform) Compensation and Benefits The base pay range for this role is listed below.
