As an Engineer, Test Solution Engineering - Process (Module or Component) at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for the process development, improvement, and qualification of FOAK equipment, software or operation problems in processes and manufacturing. You will work with Manufacturing, Test Engineering, Process Engineering, QA, Suppliers, and other cross functional central team resources to specify, develop, optimize, integrate, and qualify new and existing systems for manufacturing process. You will provide process direction and assistance in the local and internationally with the aim at enabling new technology, reducing overall cost, increase yield, reliability, safety, and optimize product manufacturing quality Job Responsibilities: Responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to, the following: - Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements. - Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one's scope of work. - Drive efforts between Test Key Equipment Group (KEG) and Sites for new technology integration and issues resolution. - Coordination of global continuous improvement efforts for manufacturing/equipment processes and capabilities to deliver industry best in class (BIC) methods. - Drive the deployment efforts to transfer best known process methods (BKMs) and the latest process technology throughout the global manufacturing network. - Lead global peer groups to optimize manufacturing performance and align this across the manufacturing network. - Work with peer groups and customers to benchmark these metrics to improve performance in the network for BIC processes. - Analyze and troubleshoot manufacturing processes and develop systems to optimize the process to increase overall efficiency for improved yield, quality, cycle time and cost. - Facilitate the transfer of process BKMs and new technology among sites throughout the manufacturing network through worldwide project management. - Manage projects from definition through first of kind deployment into HVM (High Volume Manufacturing) production. - Ensure proposed solutions meet speed performance, mechanical form/fit/function, and material interface requirements. - Analyze cost structure of a technology and identify appropriate actions to minimize cost of operation. - Procure cost efficient solutions meeting mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing requirements. - Responsible for Process of Record (POR), Change Management (CM), Failure Mode Effective Analysis (FMEA) and other key business processes for area of responsibility. - Establish technical expertise on process and provide technical support to internal and external customers. - Mentor, lead, and/or collaborate with global teams as required. - Identify and determine origin of deviation, isolate cause and provide solutions with systematic application of 8D, Total Process Control (TPC), Problem Solving and Decision Making. - Develop new process transfer package, procedures, training, and documentation. - Occasional travel required. - Job Requirements: - Bachelor degree in any Engineering discipline - 0 - 2 years of working experience - Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter Master data management and/or Critical Manufacturing MES systems and processes would be advantageous. - Proficiency with data analysis tools and manufacturing software support systems (MAM, SAP, etc.). - General understanding of the backend operations for component assembly, component test operations. - Has depth of understanding and ability to manage worldwide business process.
