The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in both on-premises and cloud environments, along with strong skills in performance tuning, high availability, backup/recovery, and replication technologies. Key Responsibilities: Oracle Database Administration - Manage and administer Oracle Databases in on-prem and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments. - Perform performance tuning, diagnostics, and workload optimization. - Manage backup and recovery operations using RMAN. - Configure, monitor, and maintain Data Guard for disaster recovery. - Support Oracle replication solutions such as: - Oracle GoldenGate - HVR Replication SQL Server Administration - Administer SQL Server in on-premises and Azure SQL environments. - Implement and maintain high availability solutions (AlwaysOn Availability Groups, Failover Clustering). - Manage security, patching, and performance tuning. - Design and maintain backup and recovery strategies. Snowflake Administration - Manage user and role provisioning, access control, and security configurations. - Perform query performance tuning and warehouse optimization. - Handle data loading/unloading, ETL integrations, and external stage management. PostgreSQL Administration - Install, configure, upgrade, and manage PostgreSQL databases. - Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and configuration tuning. - Define and implement backup and restore strategies. MongoDB Administration - Install, configure, and manage MongoDB in on-premises and cloud environments. - Monitor performance, tune queries, and optimize database configurations. - Implement and manage security, including authentication, authorization, and role-based access. Required Skills - Strong troubleshooting and performance analysis skills across multiple database platforms. - Experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability systems. - Ability to work in fast-paced environments with cross-functional teams. - Strong communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications - Certifications in Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, MongoDB, OCI, or Azure are an advantage.
