Job Description *Only recent AUC or RUSM graduates are eligible for consideration* This is a fully online remote position based in the United States with a target term of June 8, 2026 - June 11, 2027 The Medical Education Readiness Program (MERP) is a medical school preparatory program operated by Covista, one of the world’s largest providers of educational services. Admission to MERP allows students to be conditionally accepted to either Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM) or American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine (AUC) and based on their performance in the program, gain admission to their respective medical school. MERP’s academic year is divided into 3 semesters with a new class of students admitted each semester. Since 2020, MERP is conducted 100% on-line. For this position, MERP offers teaching responsibilities and mentoring opportunities for doctors in transition between medical school and residency as part of building their medical educational portfolio. Candidates must be able to assist faculty and staff in all areas of MERP instruction and other activities as assigned. These areas include, but are not limited to, test question design, proctoring exams, assisting student learning, providing guidance on test taking skills, conducting academic success sessions, providing teaching assistance in the lab, delivering PowerPoint presentations, participating in the grading process, conducting weekly reviews of subjects assigned, and other activities as assigned. These activities are conducted on-line, and the candidate can be positioned remotely. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Candidates are expected to attend all subject lectures for the first semester and thereafter as assigned. - Must be available Monday through Friday, and occasional weekends and evenings for MERP related events. - Candidates are required to attend various required MERP activities as assigned with the expectation of being able to conduct small group review sessions. - Candidates are expected to use clinical knowledge to assist with the development of clinical case activities Candidates will serve as mentors and educators to a cohort of students, maintaining close communication with each student, and provide guidance - Performs other duties as assigned - Complies with all policies and standard Qualifications - ONLY recent American University of the Caribbean SOM (AUC) or Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM) graduates are eligible. - Must have successfully completed the basic sciences. - Must have a 3.0 in basic sciences. - A graduate of MERP is preferred but not mandatory. - Satisfactory or better grades in all activities undertaken as RUSM or AUC student, including satisfactory or better performance on NBME qualifying exams. - Excellent communication skills in English. - Strong teaching skills and experience is preferred but not mandatory - Desire for self-improvement and strong work ethic - Flexibility and ability to work well on a team. - Since this is a remote position and all job duties are performed on-line, it is important that the candidate has a basic understanding of and some experience with on-line platforms such as Teams. Additional Information In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is $48,000.00 annually. • Define and drive the enterprise-wide SAP SuccessFactors strategy. • Oversee the migration and transformation of SAP HCM/SAP On-Premise custom workloads. • Ensure high availability, reliability, security, and performance of the SuccessFactors ecosystem. • Drive vendor management efforts with SAP and third-party partners. • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to senior leadership.

- **Cloud-Native Development:** Architect and build high-performance web applications using **React, Node.js, and TypeScript**. You will own the full lifecycle, from frontend UI components to backend business logic. - **Infrastructure as Code (IaC):** Lead the implementation of cloud environments using Terraform. You will treat infrastructure as a first-class citizen, ensuring all client environments are reproducible, version-controlled, and secure. - **Serverless Architecture:** Design and deploy event-driven solutions leveraging AWS Lambda and other AWS services. You are expected to be adept at managing serverless state, permissions (IAM), and performance tuning. - **AI-Accelerated Workflow:** Proactively utilise AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) to accelerate delivery, automate testing, and refactor legacy code, while maintaining strict manual oversight for security and quality. - **Automation & CI/CD:** Build and manage automated pipelines that bridge the gap between application code and infrastructure deployment, ensuring a seamless "push-to-deploy" experience. - **Consultative Leadership:** Act as a subject matter expert in client "pods," mentoring junior engineers and confidently presenting architectural roadmaps to customer stakeholders.
