You will be the first point of contact for health plan members, helping them understand and begin the process of applying for Social Security Disability benefits. Your Daily Mission (What You’ll Do) You will be the voice of support and a trusted guide, introducing members to the possibility of receiving life-changing benefits. - Compassionate Conversations: Make outbound and receive inbound calls from people interested in applying for disability benefits through the Social Security Administration. - The "Human Translator": Determine if individuals or their dependents are eligible for disability benefits through a series of simple questions. When needed, you will explain complex regulations and eligibility requirements in simple, warm, and patient terms. - Application Kickstart: Gather sensitive personal and financial details to determine eligibility and assist in the initial submission of Social Security Disability applications. - Data Integrity: Accurately compile, record, and evaluate personal and financial data using Centauri’s systems. - Regulatory Standards: Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and company information security policies to ensure the safety and confidentiality of all data. You remain calm and professional, seeing obstacles as opportunities to build trust. - Compassionate: You love to help people - Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable placing and receiving calls via contact center software and have strong data entry skills. - Critical Thinker: You can manage difficult conversations and use probing questions to clarify information and find solutions. - Remote Ready: You have experience working remotely and have a private, quiet office space.
