The Role As a Senior Content Engineer at CodeSignal, you will design, build, and maintain two categories of high-impact educational products: assessment frameworks that help candidates demonstrate their skills in a fair and predictive interview process, and learning courses that help developers grow those skills on our Learn platform. In both areas, your work helps our clients go beyond the noise in technical recruiting and development – producing experiences that are rigorous, engaging, and grounded in research. Our ideal candidate is motivated to keep learning and excited by the opportunity to create quality content for technologies and domains they are not yet familiar with. Day-to-day - Design, build, and maintain high-quality assessment content, including coding questions aligned with standardized frameworks - Ensure assessments are fair, consistent, and predictive, enabling unbiased candidate evaluation - Contribute to the development and evolution of new interview frameworks and standards - Create engaging learning experiences on the Learn platform, including lessons, coding challenges, and practice problems - Apply strong pedagogical principles to craft clear, effective, and well-structured educational content - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver polished, research-backed products - Continuously review and improve content to maintain high quality and relevance across technologies and domains - Explore and learn new technologies to expand the breadth and depth of content offerings. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years experience with Software Engineering - Algorithms and data structures proficiency - Experience with Prompt Engineering - Knowledge of one or more SQL dialects: MySQL, PostgreSQL, TSQL, etc. - Motivation to learn new things - Familiarity with JavaScript or Python scripting is a plus.
