Research Project Coordinator
Geisinger
• Responsible for coordination of all aspects of research projects. • Coordinates all research project-related activities, including recruitment, progress tracking and reporting, quality control, and research support staff training; oversees implementation of project plans. • Oversees development of study specific material such as tracking logs, templates, monitoring tools, study binders, process manuals, etc. • Submits request for data extracts and manages data collection, entry, and quality. • Tracks project related expenses and assists with monitoring study budgets, developing new study budgets and contract request submissions for noncomplex studies. • Prepares and submits IRB submissions of increasing complexity; reviews routine submissions prepared by Senior Research Assistants. • Handles sensitive project issues and provides resolution. • Ensures adherence to federal or other regulatory requirements. • Communicates resource needs, issues, project status and milestones to project team and project leader and devises corrective action plans. • Assists with preparation and submission of study manuscripts for publication, funding applications, and grant or sponsor-required reports. • Orientation, mentoring, and training of junior research staff.

Job Description Summary: The Professional Services Project Manager is responsible for leading the day to day successful delivery of Rocket Professional Services customer engagements together with Rocket and customer teams and plays a key role in providing Rocket’s Category of One customer experience. • Function as a representative of the Clinical Surveillance & Training (CST) team on small to largesized studies or programs, interact with other functional groups, vendors, license holders, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and Sponsors. • Manage CST deliverables pertaining to scoped services, vendors (i.e., Rater Training vendors, eCOA vendors, etc), scale license holders, and/or KOLs. • Manage all aspects of license procurement, scale translation requirements, and paper scale worksheet development. • Manage creation of all CST service-related documentation and templates. • Manage eCOA vendor timelines, deliverables and budget. • Develop and maintain the study-specific CST Plan in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs). • Engagement with Clinical Data Sciences (CDS) on Clinical Outcome Assessments (COA) data collection strategy, including integration, and facilitate data transfer agreement. • Create and maintain CST metric reports for scoped services, for delivery to client. • Prepare and distribute CST internal meeting agenda, minutes, and action items. • Identify risks and develop mitigation plan as required. • Plan, manage, and request CST resources (e.g., CST Clinical Scientist, CST Assessment Scientist, etc) and provide CST resource updates for assigned projects.
