Senior Principal Technical Project Manager – Aviation Intelligence

• You will lead medium-to-large technical programs ($500K+) across data science, data engineering, AI/ML, and digital initiatives, driving cost, schedule, scope, and resource management. • You will coordinate cross-functionally with Connected Aviation, other SBUs, and Digital Technology (DT) teams to ensure successful delivery of high-impact data solutions. • You will enable Agile teams to stay aligned with strategic priorities, emphasizing customer value, portfolio visibility, and delivery accountability. • You will manage program risks and dependencies, prepare executive-level progress reports, and recommend solutions to complex program challenges. • You will support vendor and contractor oversight, ensuring alignment with program objectives and performance expectations. • You will contribute to continuous improvement, helping strengthen program management standards and execution across the Aviation Intelligence portfolio.

Job Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading medium to large technical programs ($500K+).
  • Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with executive-level influence skills, partnering with senior leadership across engineering, digital technology, and product teams.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and tools (Azure DevOps, Jira).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, or similar analytical tools.
  • Understanding of SQL databases and software engineering practices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD frameworks and DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains.
  • Proven communication and presentation skills with ability to influence leadership.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business planning capability.
