The Crown Is Yours As a Software Engineer, you'll help shape the future of our WebGL games and platform for web and mobile. In this role, you'll help craft high-quality gameplay experiences using our in-house TypeScript ThreeJS framework. You'll collaborate with our product team, game and UX designers, artists, and developers to bring bold creative visions to life. You'll have the opportunity to innovate, solve technical challenges, and deliver immersive games enjoyed by players in a dynamic and fast-paced iGaming environment. What You'll Do - Develop, deploy, and operate live casino games in a scalable and reliable 24/7 iGaming environment. - Design and maintain casino gameplay systems, mechanics, and features within Unity, collaborating with designers, artists, and developers to translate concepts into functional features. - Optimize game performance across multiple platforms and devices, ensuring smooth gameplay experiences. - Triage and debug software application issues, resolving technical challenges and creating prototypes to test new game mechanics and tools. - Write clear, maintainable code and documentation while staying updated with Unity's latest features and best practices. What You'll Bring - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any relevant combination of education, experience, and training. - At least 1 year of experience in Unity development, whether from professional experience, internships, coursework, or personal projects. - Proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming. - Knowledge of mobile and web game development standards, with a focus on performance optimization. - Strong analytical skills to solve technical challenges and write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. - A collaborative mindset, thriving in a team environment to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions. Join Our Team We're a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston. The US base salary range for this full-time position is 104,000.00 USD - 130,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
