Technical Writer
Pivotal Point, LLC
• Create high-quality documentation that clearly explains Platform One DevSecOps product features and benefits for various user groups. • Collaborate with engineers, product owners, Value Stream teams, and developers to gather technical information and clarify documentation needs. • Develop and maintain: -User guides -Online help systems -Tutorials -UI text -Developer documentation -End-user documentation • Translate complex technical information into accurate, user-friendly documentation. • Conduct content strategy and scoping sessions to ensure complete and valuable product information is captured. • Work in Git-based repositories using Markdown and version control best practices. • Review and update documentation to align with product releases and feature updates. • Improve existing documentation for clarity, structure, and usability.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a technical writer in a software, cloud, or IT environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise content.
- Familiarity with modern tools and platforms used in content creation, content management, and documentation (specifically Confluence, Git, Markdown, Jira, SharePoint, Odoo, Figma, Microsoft Office Suite, Hugo).
- Knowledge of documentation best practices, including single-sourcing, version control, content reuse, and information architecture.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
