Full Stack Developer (Golang/Java) #1029 Clearance: U.S. Citizenship Required. DHS EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS Final Suitability Dev Technology is on the lookout for a passionate Software Developer to join our dynamic team! You'll be at the forefront of developing, deploying, and maintaining mission-critical applications that drive government initiatives forward. In this role, you'll be instrumental in transforming requirements into innovative solutions using cutting-edge methodologies such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Kanban, and DevSecOps. You'll collaborate closely with users to define system scope and objectives and contribute to key design decisions that shape the future of our mission-critical systems. What You'll Be Doing: The successful candidate will help to develop, deploy, and maintain mission-critical applications. You will also provide support and technical advice during conceptualization, development, and implementation phases to transform requirements into working solutions. This includes engaging with users to define the system's scope and objectives, as well as contributing to design decisions. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - - Use Java, C++, and Go language development experience to develop, deploy, and maintain mission-critical applications - Provide support and technical advice during conceptualization, development, and implementation phases to transform requirements into working solutions. This includes engaging with users to define the system's scope and objectives, as well as contributing to design decisions. - Work on new development and re-engineering efforts, including making system design decisions - Implement enhancements to the existing system in addition to coordinating with other developers working in parallel, and perform QA/testing as needed - Provide software development services on all tiers (UI, Java, Oracle) - Database programming using SQL - Experience with test-driven development - Scrum/agile project lifecycle approach to software development - Travel required approximately 3 times per year to Mexico, Panama, and Costa Rica, working with the local government to help set up a biometric system Required Education, Experience, and Skills: - U.S. Citizenship - DHS HQ EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability - Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5+ years of development experience - Experience with Java and/or C++ programming languages - Experience with GoLang and Java programming languages - DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Maven - Java Web Services / Spring Boot / Java EE - Web Development / UI Frameworks / HTML / JavaScript - Experience in Agile development methodology - Spanish language proficiency (bilingual English/Spanish) Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills: - Experience implementing and configuring DevOps solutions Our estimated salary range for this position is $120,000-$130,000. This presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
