Why you will love working here:   - Quality of life: Flexible workplace arrangements, work-life balance  - Investment in the community: Donation matching, volunteer opportunities  - Investment in you: Tuition reimbursement, access to professional development resources, 401k matching, Employee Stock Purchase Plan  - And many, many more (Ask your recruiter for more details!)  What you will be doing:  - Data analysts will share requirements and documentation so the BI Developer can provide feedback, suggesting alternative designs/solutions when appropriate. - Your work will be delivered on client specified timeframes (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly) but can also be quick turnaround support, especially when creating ad hoc tools. - Your daily tasks will be highly varied and could include helping maintain data integrity across a wide variety of energy efficiency programs, troubleshooting data quality issues and communicating their impacts, supporting ongoing custom report maintenance, etc. - You may also build data lakes, optimize ETL pipelines, and manage databases with SQL, all to provide actionable customer insights.   What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):    - Bachelor's degree in (Computer Science, IT, Data, Science, Math or related fields) (or applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education) - 2+ years of experience working with SQL Server (e.g., query tuning, writing procedures/functions, building views) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). - 2+ years of experience in SQL querying and scripting, with experience optimizing complex queries for performance and scalability. - 2+ years of experience working with BI tools (e.g., Power BI). - Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and Background Check including a Drug Screening. What we would like you to have:  - Experience in rapidly maintaining, supporting, and producing regular reporting deliverables for a variety of audiences. - Exposure to the utility, energy, and/or energy efficiency sectors. - Strong understanding of database structures, normalization, and data modeling, including how to streamline and automate repetitive tasks. - Experience modernizing from legacy BI systems into cloud-based applications/platforms, including creating technical documentation and architectural diagrams. - Experience using Fabric, Azure, Python, PySpark, Hadoop, DataBricks. • Collaborate with customers to lead the analysis, design, development, and support of complex computer applications and systems, as well as clinical and operational workflows related to Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, and Epic Integrated Reporting. • Gather requests for new reports and coordinate with customers to identify and document detailed requirements. • Design and develop reporting solutions that meet customer needs while adhering to OHSU Finance and BIAA standards. • Develop and monitor reporting using systems such as Power BI, Epic Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, and to a lesser extent, Business Objects Webi. • Analyze hospital & professional, along with clinical data to deliver robust data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to be leveraged by OHSU customers. • Ensure data integrity in current system and when creating and moving to new systems. • Provide recommendations for selection of systems for new programs and projects. • Meet with customers to translate complex requests for reporting, system, and data needs. • Identify and advise on technical limitations, alternatives, data extraction methods, and create data collection tools as needed. • Collaborate with analysts, developers, managers, and leadership to define requirements and inform priorities and needs. • Perform complex research in complicated data environments and front-end systems to ensure correct data selection and validity. • Research and recommend improvements in workflow, documentation, or alternative solutions. • Create data visualizations and self-service solutions using Microsoft PowerBI. • Write complex queries and run reports from the various OHSU data warehouses. • Optimize SQL code for efficient execution. • Distribute monthly, special quarterly, and annual reports as requested.

• Building a data monitoring and reporting tool and process • Compiling, validating, and reporting data monthly by member to the Field Pharmacy Team • Identifying and communicating member opportunities throughout the quarter • Validating data with the supplier and coordinating with Finance for member payout • Performing analytics utilizing complex data extracts and presenting findings to key stakeholders • Developing knowledge of the sourcing process and contract execution process
