Senior IS Applications Analyst – Epic Cadence

Providence

• Uses in-depth information and analysis to provide management with advice and counsel on a variety of business issues • Define and translate user requirements for complex systems, educating customers on functionality and limitations while driving optimal application utilization • Collaborate with internal and external teams to support and develop business solutions • Demonstrate service excellence and relationship-building, fostering trust and collaboration with patients, families, employees, managers, medical staff, volunteers, and community partners to maximize productivity and engagement • Apply technical standards and advanced methodologies to solve highly complex problems • Design and refine workflows in partnership with stakeholders • Lead high-performing project teams, driving initiatives from concept to completion with precision and accountability • Analyze and synthesize data to evaluate multiple solutions • Collaborate with peers to create and maintain team-specific documentation • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, troubleshoot issues, and guide root cause analysis for application failures • Translate business needs into system design, configuration, and workflow validations • Develop and execute complex test plans • Serve as a trusted resource during testing and upgrades • Align individual goals with organizational priorities • Plan and manage system downtime, change management, maintenance, and upgrades • Perform capacity planning and vendor management • Flexibility to travel up to 10% and participate in rotational on-call responsibilities to support critical operations

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
  • Within 90 days of hire date: Epic Certification
  • 4 or more years of epic certification with build experience
  • 7 or more years of build analyst experience in Epic and / or equivalent healthcare software
