• The Project Manager, Finance leads financial tracking and performance oversight across RISE implementation workstreams, ensuring alignment of budget, resource utilization, and financial reporting with implementation milestones and program objectives. • The role supports effective governance by providing visibility into financial performance, identifying risks, and enabling data-driven decision-making using budget trackers, resource utilization reports, and financial performance dashboards. • This includes monitoring labor hours, tracking expenditures against planned budgets, and ensuring accurate reporting in alignment with contract requirements and implementation timelines. • In this role, the Project Manager supports program management and governance activities by integrating financial data into broader program reporting and works closely with program leadership, workstream leads, and functional liaisons to ensure financial alignment across VHA Central Office (VHACO), Operations Centers, and Veteran Integrated Service Networks (VISNs). • The Project Manager also supports identification and mitigation of financial risks, monitors variances, and recommends efficiency and resource allocation improvements while ensuring compliance with federal financial management standards, contract requirements, and reporting expectations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in federal financial management or program financial oversight
  • Experience developing and managing budgets, cost estimates, and financial tracking tools
  • Experience supporting program management, reporting, and governance processes
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Legal Authorization to work in the U.S.

Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent required. - Associate degree, University degree, or Technical degree preferred.
