Role Description JDS Energy & Mining is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Controls Administrator to support the successful delivery of mining and energy projects through effective cost tracking, scheduling support, and data management. This role works closely with project managers, engineers, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project controls systems are accurate, up to date, and aligned with project objectives. The Project Controls Administrator plays a key role in maintaining project data integrity, supporting reporting processes, and assisting with cost and schedule coordination. This position contributes directly to informed decision-making, project transparency, and the consistent execution of project controls processes across all phases of work. This role can be performed either from a home office or a company office, depending on project and team requirements. Key Responsibilities - Maintain and update project controls systems, including cost tracking tools, schedules, and reporting dashboards - Assist with project budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking activities - Support the development and maintenance of project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project - Compile, format, and distribute regular project reports, including cost, schedule, and progress updates - Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of project data across systems and reports - Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather required project information - Support change management processes, including tracking changes, variations, and approvals - Assist with document control processes, ensuring proper versioning and document organization - Track project performance metrics and highlight variances or risks to the project team - Participate in regular project meetings and provide administrative and reporting support - Contribute to continuous improvement of project controls processes, tools, and reporting Qualifications - Detail-oriented and highly organized - Experience with project controls systems - Proficiency in cost tracking and scheduling tools - Strong communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively with project teams Benefits - Flexible work options (home office or company office) - Opportunities for professional development - Supportive work environment
