• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for assigned SOX business processes and provide guidance to support compliance with SOX requirements. • Partner with the IT SOX PMO to assess new systems, applications, and related controls for compliance readiness. • Assist with the annual SOX risk assessment by helping evaluate process risks and control coverage. • Monitor emerging risks and update controls, documentation, and process expectations as business needs change. • Coordinate and lead SOX business walkthroughs with control owners and cross-functional stakeholders. • Develop and maintain control documentation, including process narratives, flowcharts, and risk and control matrices. • Assess control deficiencies and work with management to develop, implement, and track remediation plans. • Collaborate with leaders across Finance, Operations, Legal, HR, Sales, Engineering, and IT, as well as internal and external auditors, to support an effective SOX audit process and identify automation opportunities within the SOX environment.

• Support the Veterans Health Administration’s (VHA) RISE Implementation initiative by providing process analysis, improvement, and implementation support. • Document current and future-state workflows, conduct stakeholder interviews, and analyze operational processes, staffing models, and governance structures. • Develop assessment tools, collect baseline operational, workforce, and financial data to support readiness assessments. • Apply business process reengineering methodologies to streamline operations, reduce complexity, and improve efficiency. • Monitor progress toward Full Operating Capability (FOC), track key performance indicators (KPIs), and contribute to post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement recommendations.

Technical & Functional Expertise - Deep knowledge of Salesforce ecosystems (Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds, CPQ), iPaaS platforms (Boomi, Workato, n8n, etc.), and with ERP platforms such as NetSuite. - Experience with system integrations, APIs/ETL, workflow automation, and enterprise data architectures. - Strong business analysis and product ownership skills, with experience translating requirements into technical solutions. - Hands-on technical background (configuration and/or coding) sufficient to coach teams and guide solution design. Leadership & Delivery Skills - Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business strategy into scalable systems and roadmaps. - Excellent communication and facilitation skills; ability to speak both “business” and “technical.” - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence. - Strong change management, documentation, and training experience. - Certifications such as PMP, CSM, Salesforce, or vendor-specific credentials are a plus
