Job Requirements
- 10+ years in senior technical roles, including significant experience as a Principal, Staff, or Lead Architect.
- Proven ownership of architectural direction for large-scale, multi-service platforms serving enterprise customers.
- Experience designing and evolving distributed, event-driven, or data-intensive systems operating at scale.
- Background in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments where auditability and risk management materially influence system design.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-team architectural initiatives or platform transformations.
- Strong hands-on credibility; able to engage deeply in design, modeling, trade-off analysis, and architectural review.
- Experience collaborating across global engineering teams and influencing senior technical stakeholders.
- Practical experience integrating AI/ML or LLM-based services into distributed systems.
- Understanding of the operational implications of incorporating probabilistic services into deterministic workflows.
- Familiarity with service abstraction, API design, and integration patterns that allow AI capabilities to evolve without destabilizing core platform architecture.
- Ability to evaluate AI service adoption pragmatically from a scalability, cost, and reliability perspective.

Role Description Electrosoft seeks a highly experienced Information Technology Lead (IT Lead) to support a U.S. Government Enterprise Identity and Credential Management Office. This role is designated as a technology management position and provides senior-level technical leadership across identity, credential, and access management (ICAM) services, PKI integration, PACS/LACS modernization, and enterprise identity data operations. Work Location: Washington DC Metro area/Remote. This position requires consistent availability during core business hours, participation in technical working groups, stakeholder briefings, and program reviews. The IT Lead is expected to provide strategic input, ensure operational continuity, and support ongoing modernization initiatives across the enterprise identity infrastructure. Key Responsibilities - Provide leadership across PIV issuance, lifecycle management, and enterprise credentialing operations. - Deliver PKI technical support, including certificate lifecycle management, OCSP/CRL troubleshooting, and alignment with Federal PKI policies. - Support Department modernization of PACS/LACS infrastructure in accordance with FIPS 201-3. - Lead technical integration efforts with HR Connect, PDS, TEDS, CMS, and other enterprise identity systems. - Develop architecture documents, technical designs, workflows, and system configuration updates. - Serve as technical advisor to leadership, PMO, and stakeholders for ICAM modernization initiatives. - Conduct risk identification, change management, and problem resolution for enterprise identity systems. - Ensure compliance with HSPD-12, FIPS 201-3, NIST SP 800-series guidance, OMB directives, and departmental ICAM policies.
