This includes data discovery, clean up, ingestion, handling updates and cataloging using current metadata standards. Responsibilities: - Search for data and supporting documentation that can be utilized in the customer’s various applications. - Flush out metadata information to keep catalog system to ensure entries are accurate and up to date. - Perform duties associated with data cataloging. - Build partnerships across the customer’s organization to determine which datasets should be collected, stored and made available. - Serve as a Data Transfer Officer moving data from the open internet to customer systems. - Perform any needed data clean up, and reformatting of datasets for inclusion in customer’s applications. - Monitor storage space allocations to inform customer when available space has reached specific thresholds. - Monitor the effectiveness of AI queries to data holdings to determine if such queries are accurate and valid. Minimum Qualifications: - Active/current TS/SCI with required polygraph - Willingness to work onsite full time - US citizenship required - Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant field - Strong experience working with structured datasets - Experience with metadata cataloging systems - Strong writing and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - Previous All-Source analyst experience - Experience or familiarity with general library science cataloging theory, principles and practices - Experience with data conversion using various tools and applications - Experience with relational database design and SQL query workflows - Experience with Intelligence Community regulations for data collection and retention including the 1974 Privacy act and Congressionally mandated U.S. persons information regulations.
