The Job You Will Perform: - Committed to a safe work environment and ensures that all IP safety and health reliable methods and federal and state OSHA requirements are in place and followed. - The position will support 5 plants that print flexographic preprinted liner. - Function as both a technical resource for box plants and a sales representative for 3rd party accounts. - Responsibilities include profitably growing business, implementing value propositions with key customers, exceeding financial goals, and providing timely feedback on market, customers, and competitive activity. - Work closely with the Preprint Sales Manager to develop and execute key account plans, which generate profitable sales for the business. - Create IP market advantage resulting in the development of new accounts and growth of existing accounts. - Understand the industry, the market, customer requirements, and organizational capabilities that result in superior solutions and services, which differentiate International Paper in the marketplace. - Collaborate with box sales reps, customer service, manufacturing, and design to resolve technical issues at both the converting facilities and the end customer. - Responsible for handling a broad range of complex situations or problems where no precedence exists. - Exhibits innovative thinking and logic to anticipate and divert customer issues/problems. - Utilizes technical knowledge to assist the business unit in identifying and/or establishing product strategy and market direction. - Maintains knowledge of strategic customer's operational practices and quality expectations with top priority accounts. OEM sales certifications are preferred. - Industry Knowledge: Thorough understanding of IT terminology, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Prior experience selling to state and local government entities is strongly preferred. - Sales Acumen: Demonstrated success in building new business relationships and comfort with cold-calling and interacting with C-level executives. - Technical Proficiency: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM software (Tigerpaw and Hubspot preferred). - Education: Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred. AWS Cloud Practitioner certification to be completed within ninety (90) days of hire. - ISO 9001:2015 internal training to be completed within ninety (90) days of hire.
