AI Automation Strategist – Solutions Architect
Adaptive Teams
• Lead conversations with founders, operators, and team leads • Map out current workflows across departments (sales, ops, finance, marketing, etc.) • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and manual processes • Ask sharp questions to uncover how things actually work (not just how they’re described) • Determine what can be: Automated, Augmented with AI, Eliminated or simplified • Evaluate opportunities across: Off-the-shelf tools (Zapier, Make, GPT workflows, etc.), Custom AI/agent-based solutions • Produce a structured deliverable that includes: Current state workflow breakdown, Identified automation opportunities, Recommended solutions (tools, agents, systems), Implementation plan (phased rollout), Estimated impact (time savings, cost savings, revenue lift) • Translate roadmap into clear specs for implementation team • Collaborate with engineers / builders executing the work • Provide light project oversight to ensure alignment with original vision
Job Requirements
- Experience in consulting, operations, product, or systems design
- Strong understanding of: AI tools (LLMs, agents, automation platforms)
- Workflow automation (Zapier, Make, APIs, etc.)
- Ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured plans
- Comfortable leading client-facing conversations

Are you a dynamic sales engineer with a passion for cybersecurity and a knack for building strong client relationships? We're looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our DACH team. In this role, you'll leverage your cybersecurity expertise to partner with Sales in pre-sales engagements, shaping solutions that drive measurable impact for our customers. About the Team Our Sales Engineering team partners closely with our Account Executives in a pre-sales role to develop and position solutions involving Rapid7's security solutions. This team consists of a group of driven colleagues where there is a lot of synergy between them. Due to the smaller size of the local team, you can really make an impact and ride on future growth. About the Role As a Senior Sales Engineer your primary responsibility will be to support our sales team in matching up customers with Rapid7's security solutions. You will be required to possess presentation-ready knowledge and product expertise on all Rapid7's product groups, with specialized expertise in the security solutions. Specifically, your focus will be to: - Proactively partner with your territory sales team in a pre-sales role to position all appropriate Rapid7 solutions to address our prospects' IT Security, IT Operations and business needs - Understand and articulate the value of our solutions as well as conduct in-person and remote product demonstrations, working closely with Sales Account Executives to present the technical value proposition - Engage with the customer as their technical contact throughout the pre-sales evaluation cycle, demonstrating how Rapid7 products meet the customer's business and technical needs. - Develop content for and speak at Rapid7 seminars, events and trade shows. - Engage with channel partners in the region to provide technical sales training and support for partner led-opportunities. - Attend commercial forecast calls with the EMEA / International Team in order to support the Regional Director. - Provide thought leadership - demonstrate knowledge outside of the Rapid7 portfolio and provide training to both Sales and Sales Engineering teams. The skills and qualities you'll bring include: - A technical background, preferably in the Security space and an in-depth knowledge of multiple Operating Systems and Security Solutions - A good understanding of network topology, TCP/IP network configuration and components (firewalls, routers, etc.) - Relevant Industry Qualifications such as CISSP, E|CH, AWS (Solutions Architect) and/or Azure - Expertise in IT, Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, DevOps, Application Security or Security Automation - Expertise in one or more cloud environments. • Articulate the F5 product strategy, messaging, and positioning of F5’s value proposition and solutions for customer business objectives • Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, solution demonstrations, and proof of concepts • Determine viability of opportunity and map out organizational structure • Drive the sales process in partnership with the Account Manager by identifying the Technical Decision Maker • Consistently provide world-class customer service through the customer life cycle • Serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor for F5 Distributed Cloud solutions
• Lead solution design and architecture for planning processes (demand planning, supply planning, production planning/scheduling, inventory optimization, S&OP/IBP) • Run blueprinting/requirements workshops, publish design decisions, and build phased roadmaps that stakeholders can execute • Define data and integration architecture between APS tools and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle ERPs and upstream/downstream planning/execution apps) • Guide configuration/build teams across the lifecycle (design → build/config → test → cutover), ensuring performance, scalability, and operability • Produce strong architecture documentation, support solutioning (as needed), and present outcomes to senior client stakeholders
