HR Recruiter

Weekday (YC W21)

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Contract Duration 6 Months Work Location Remote (Work from Home) Experience Required Minimum 1 Year Employment Type Contract / Fixed Term Working Hours Standard Business Hours (Monday to Friday) We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Recruiter to join on a contract basis and support end-to-end hiring across multiple functions. This is a fully remote role designed for early-career professionals looking to strengthen their expertise in talent acquisition and recruitment operations. You will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and hiring quality talent while ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle. In this role, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and business needs, enabling you to deliver the right talent efficiently. You will also contribute to building strong talent pipelines and improving recruitment processes, helping the organization scale effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management.
  • Source candidates through job portals, social platforms, referrals, and other innovative channels.
  • Conduct initial screening calls to assess candidate fit based on role requirements and organizational culture.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring timely communication and scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Draft clear and engaging job descriptions to attract relevant talent.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Support pre-employment processes such as background verification and reference checks.
  • Generate recruitment reports and track key hiring metrics.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand hiring priorities and deliver efficiently.
  • Assist with onboarding coordination to ensure smooth candidate transitions into the organization.
  • What Makes You a Great Fit
  • At least 1 year of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition with exposure to end-to-end hiring processes.
  • Hands-on experience using job portals and sourcing platforms effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage candidates professionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setup with strong time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace tools for reporting and coordination.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Passion for building relationships, identifying talent, and contributing to team growth.
