What this opportunity involves You’ll create challenging coding test cases that push AI coding systems to their limits: - Review and refine realistic coding tasks based on provided production codebases with realistic scope, requirements and information sources  - Write comprehensive functional tests that validate actual end-to-end behavior and edge-cases, not just superficial checks - Craft “fair but hard” challenges where the AI has all the context it needs, but has to work for it (information scattered across files and external sources, complex reasoning required) - Analyze AI failures to understand what the model struggles with vs. what it masters - Iterate based on feedback from expert QA reviewers who score your work on 7 quality criteria What we look for This opportunity is a good fit for experienced developers, software engineers, and/or test automation specialists open to part-time, non-permanent projects. Role Description We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with leadership capabilities to drive end-to-end web application development while overseeing and guiding a small development team. This is a hands-on technical role with added responsibility for team coordination and delivery. Key Responsibilities - Development: - Design and develop robust user interfaces, APIs, and business logic using C#.NET and ASP.NET. - Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces with AngularJS, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS. - Architect and maintain MS SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity. - Develop internal APIs and integrate with external APIs for seamless cross-application connectivity. - Uphold code quality, system stability, and maintainability by following best practices and design patterns. - Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues in live production environments with minimal disruption. - Respond promptly to customer queries and provide reliable technical support. - Team Leadership: - Manage the development team by assigning tasks and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. - Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. - Mentor junior developers and support their technical growth. - Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Requirements - Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in full stack web application development. - Proven experience in leading or coordinating a development team. - Strong proficiency in ASP.NET, C#.NET, AngularJS, MS SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS. - Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and Windows Services. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Experience in software product development; knowledge of POS systems is an added advantage. • Build and maintain custom web applications and headless websites. • Own the full development lifecycle: Architecture & planning, Development, Testing & QA, Deployment and Ongoing support. • Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and architecture. • Collaborate with Project Managers during scoping and planning phases. • Review and validate code from outsourced developers and agencies. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. • Research and suggest new technologies, frameworks, protocols, and solutions. • Stay up-to-date with new technology trends (especially AI). • Work closely with internal teams across development, SEO, and content. • Participate in daily standups and team meetings. • Support and maintain existing applications and systems. • Contribute to improving development workflows and standards.

• Work as part of an experienced team, focused on developing our services, for example, Managed Databases, Object Storage, and our Managed Kubernetes. • Focus on improving customer-facing APIs to ensure they are developer-friendly and consistent. • Solve complex distributed system challenges related to high availability and data sovereignty across our global data centres. • Enhance and upgrade our internal integrations and collaborate with our other development teams.
