• Providing an excellent level of support experience via live chat, email, and shared Slack channels • Technical troubleshooting across all IaaS and PaaS products • Occasional handling of non-technical customer questions and account queries • Providing Linux and Windows server-side support and technical troubleshooting • Assisting users with their UpCloud environments to help them better utilise cloud-native products • Creating and maintaining internal & external technical documentation • Responsible for data tagging and analysis to improve service quality • Team cooperation and company-wide collaboration to contribute to our internal improvements

• Work as part of an experienced team, focused on developing our services, for example, Managed Databases, Object Storage, and our Managed Kubernetes. • Focus on improving customer-facing APIs to ensure they are developer-friendly and consistent. • Solve complex distributed system challenges related to high availability and data sovereignty across our global data centres. • Enhance and upgrade our internal integrations and collaborate with our other development teams.

• Architect Hybrid Pipelines: Build and maintain high-performance Batch and Streaming pipelines. • Own the Transformation Layer: Lead the implementation of dbt to turn GCS-stored data into clean, documented Gold-layer tables in BigQuery. • Own the Platform Orchestration: Manage and scale Airflow within a Dockerized on-prem environment, ensuring seamless connectivity and security between local servers and GCP. • Enable Self-Service & AI: Design data models optimized for Business Analysts and future-proofed for LLM/MCP integration by maintaining rigorous metadata and schema standards.

• Dedicate ~60% of your time to the programming side: building our data platform, developing ETL processes, managing DAGs, and ensuring our data formation is robust and reliable. • Spend ~30% of your time as a Data Analyst, breaking down business questions from Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Managers into actionable data models straight into DAGs. • Work closely with all our relevant internal stakeholders to ensure they have the data they need to drive UpCloud’s growth. • Organize and take ownership of our in-house systems to make data more accessible and useful for every user in the company.

• Maintain and develop our production networks and related services (tooling, observability, capacity) • Handle daily operational tasks (change management, incident management) together with the rest of the operations team and our partners, keeping our infrastructure running 24/7 • Help our customer support and the rest of the company by handling technical questions
