What You Will Do: You will lead on clinical trial monitoring tasks requiring technical depth, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include: - Monitoring clinical trial sites to ensure adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards. - Conducting site visits to assess site performance, resolve issues, and provide support to ensure successful trial execution. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting. - Providing training and guidance to site staff and other CRAs to maintain high standards of clinical trial conduct. - Building and maintaining effective relationships with site personnel and stakeholders to facilitate smooth trial operations. Your Profile: You will have a strong foundation in clinical trial monitoring, with the experience to work independently and guide others. Required qualifications and experience: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field - Extensive experience as a Clinical Research Associate, with a strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements. - Proven ability to manage multiple sites and projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. - Expertise in monitoring practices, data integrity, and site management, with proficiency in relevant clinical trial software and tools. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive compliance within a complex environment. - Willingness to travel as required (approximately 60%) What ICON can offer you: Our success depends on the quality of our people. You will be supporting a fast moving enterprise application, working closely with development, operations, security, and the customer to provide solutions for our client. You will work with the Optimization and Support team to identify and resolve defects, address technical debt, and optimize the application. Work will include investigating solutions to problems and developing and modifying existing process flows to help improve the application to better meet the needs of the user community. Job Responsibilities: - Collect tactical knowledge about bottlenecks or critical needs. Devise and implement rapid solutions to address those needs. - Focus on business logic and process flows, working on the design and development of business logic, process models/flows, and UI screens to implement in a BPM (Business Process Management) based system. - Work closely with Business Analysts to investigate customers’ requirements, prototype business solutions, and validate user story acceptance criteria. - Coordinate closely with team members to ensure proper fixes, unit testing and configuration management. - Support operational patch build processes. - Develop Structured Query Language (SQL), update data models and implement common database best practices (indexes, triggers, and data structure). - Manage daily work in the Atlassian suite of applications (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Bamboo). - Coordinate with DevOps team members to ensure timely and reliable releases to customer. - Ensure software maintains data integrity, security, and best practice standards. - Prepares and maintains SDLC application documentation as needed. - This role requires the selected candidate to maintain DoD 8570 IAT II certification.
