We are working on helping students and teachers learn and teach more efficiently, and aim to achieve this by developing tools such as AI tutors, Classroom AI and more foundational technologies like subject-oriented handwriting recognition. You will join a distributed team across Europe and Asia focusing specifically on building AI capabilities within Goodnotes. You will closely work with Machine Learning Engineers, iOS Engineers, Backend Engineers, PMs, QAs and designers to build and improve our new suite of AI features. About the role: As an AI Operations Analyst, you will be the teacher of the AI, you will be responsible for generating consistently high-quality and accurately labeled data through various methods to facilitate the training and evaluation of our models. You will also work on stress-testing our features and provide crucial input required for us to develop safe AI systems. You will collaborate closely with the ML Engineers, creating and curating datasets for model training, evaluation, and AI safety. You will play a crucial role in the improvement of our products and services by ensuring high-quality and accurately labeled data, as well as appropriate evaluation and stress testing of our models. This is the role for you, if you’re excited to work on the things listed below: - Utilize proprietary software applications to label data for our models accurately. - Support the delivery of high-quality, curated data to enhance model training and performance. - Conduct thorough stress-tests on our models and features to ensure the delivery of safe and reliable AI systems to our customers. - Over time, engage in prompt engineering for features based on large language models. - Collaborate with ML Engineers to enhance the design and functionality of efficient labeling tools. - Become an expert on our models' behavior, clearly communicating all discovered patterns in evaluation and testing. The skills you will need to be successful in the above: - A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences - including Literature, Linguistics, Philosophy, Philology, Journalism, or related fields - Proficiency in reading and writing in both informal and professional English (at least C1 level, C2 preferred) - Proven experience in a labeling or annotation role within a technology-focused environment is beneficial, but not mandatory - Exceptional attention to detail - Eager to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative environment - Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written Even if you don’t meet all the criteria listed above, we would still love to hear from you!
