Lead Penetration Tester, CTL App

• Lead and execute web application and API penetration tests as a CHECK Team Leader (App). • Manage end‑to‑end engagements: from scoping and kick‑off sessions through to delivery and client debriefs. • Perform in‑depth manual testing of modern web applications, authentication flows, APIs, and business logic. • Produce clear, detailed, and actionable reports outlining vulnerabilities and tailored remediation guidance. • Stay ahead of emerging application‑level threats and integrate new testing techniques into our methodology. • Automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency through scripting and tooling enhancements. • Mentor and coach junior testers, particularly around web application testing techniques and report quality. • Enhance application‑focused tools and methodologies, keeping our services current and effective. • Support pre‑sales efforts as a subject‑matter expert in web application security. • Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. • Contribute to thought leadership through blogs, white papers, or speaking engagements.
Job Requirements
- CHECK Team Lead (CTL) status – Web Applications.
- Current UK SC Clearance.
- Minimum 5 years’ penetration testing experience, with a strong focus on web applications and APIs.
- Proven experience leading and signing off CHECK web application engagements.
- Deep expertise in web application, API, and authentication testing methodologies.
- Solid understanding of modern application architectures (cloud-hosted apps, microservices, REST APIs).
- Working knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) as they relate to application security.
- Proficiency with tools such as Burp Suite Pro, along with supporting tooling (e.g. Nmap, Kali).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Shell, etc.).
- Excellent communication and technical report‑writing skills.

What does the Quality Assurance Manager do? The Quality Assurance Manager ensures the integrity, accuracy, and reproducibility of our clinical and genomic datasets. This role works independently, navigating complex oncology data, and proactively identifies and resolves discrepancies without requiring step-by-step direction. The Quality Assuracne Manager will partner closely with data engineering, bioinformatics, clinical research, and analytics teams to validate datasets, queries, and downstream outputs used in research and client-facing deliverables. Supports and adheres to US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics Business Standards. Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities (included but not limited to): Data Quality & Validation - Perform structured QA review of clinical, molecular, and treatment datasets. - Validate SQL queries used for cohort construction, biomarker identification, and treatment classification. - Independently edit, optimize, and export SQL queries as needed. - Identify data inconsistencies, missingness patterns, and normalization gaps across EMR and genomic sources (e.g., molecular reports, pathology data). - Perform reconciliation between source documents and curated datasets when required. Oncology-Specific Review - Validate biomarker classifications (e.g., driver mutations, variant types, pathogenicity status). - Review treatment regimens and confirm correct classification (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, supportive care). - Ensure staging, line of therapy, and metastatic designations are accurately derived. - Apply NCCN-aligned oncology logic to validate cohort definitions. Process Improvement - Develop and maintain QA documentation, validation frameworks, and audit trails. - Recommend process improvements to enhance data normalization and reproducibility. - Proactively investigate unexpected analytic outputs and resolve root causes. - Contribute to SOP development for data governance and quality standards. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the following background and experience: Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree, Master's preferred - Minimum three (3) years of experience in oncology data, clinical research, or molecular diagnostics. - Strong understanding of: - Solid tumor oncology (e.g., NSCLC, CRC, breast, pancreatic, HNSCC) - Biomarker-driven therapy selection - Variant classification and molecular reporting terminology - Real-world oncology datasets - Intermediate to advanced SQL skills: - Ability to write, edit, troubleshoot, and independently export queries - Experience working with large relational databases - Comfortable validating joins, aggregations, and cohort logic - Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
