• Provide scientific information, present and promote the relevant AbbVie products to office-based specialists and hospital-based specialist physicians • Target-group-oriented presentation and promotion of our products in line with the established brand strategy • Design, organize and deliver medical education events and represent the company at regional and national events • Continuous market analysis based on available data with regard to sales development of our product and competitors' • Identify potential opportunities and critical developments and derive corresponding strategic activities for targeting and account plans • Design, coordinate and implement a territory plan within the in-field team • Collect market information and customer insights and determine the customer's position in the sales cycle • Regular communication with your regional manager, colleagues and other cross-functional teams • Promote a continuous exchange of experience and ideas • Proactive and continuous commitment to customer needs • Co-responsibility for achieving regional targets • Professional reporting: timely and proper completion of all administrative tasks • Compliance with all applicable functional requirements as well as legal and regulatory obligations
Job Requirements
- Successfully completed university degree in a scientific field (natural sciences or related discipline)
- Pharmaceutical sales representative training or the required expertise according to Section 75 of the German Medicines Act (Arzneimittelgesetz)
- Successful field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage but not mandatory
- Enthusiasm for the role and a strong interest in professional development
- Ability to present complex scientific information tailored to the target audience and to discuss it with diverse customer groups
- Strong persuasion skills and a results-oriented personality with excellent communication abilities
- High degree of agility and motivation to pursue and achieve goals

Role Description The District Manager of Sales will serve as a strategic business partner and subject matter expert on catering and event sales within their assigned region. This role involves leading teams directly and indirectly by developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to meet sales goals. Qualifications - Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of an organization. - Expert leadership skills with an understanding of the importance of team building/development, while fostering partnerships. - Exceptional problem solving/decision making skills combined with the ability to be organized. - Demonstrates financial management, analytical, and planning skills. - Demonstrates the ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment. - Computer knowledge and skill level for basic office functions. - Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed. - Minimum 8 years catering and/or event sales, operations and/or event planning management in off-site catering, hotel or cultural attraction catering venue preferred. - A minimum of 8 years of experience is required; however, candidates with 10 or more years of experience will be given stronger consideration. - Minimum 3 years in a catering leadership position, preferably leading direct reports. - Working knowledge of Tripleseat is a plus. - All education backgrounds are eligible. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
