About the Job · Independently leads and drives the end-to-end strategy and operational product roadmap for one or more complex storage products or a product portfolio. · Builds and delivers the value proposition, target customer segments, and business case to bring innovative and disruptive products to market for a product portfolio with respect to the whole company product portfolio (i.e. Product configuration mix, Revenue/Margins, financials, market share). · Synthesizes market requirements (MRD) into marketing/customer details through having intimate customer knowledge and business, financial and industry market acumen. · Understands the storage ecosystem, modern workload demands and competitive offerings. · Guides key stakeholders on the portfolio strategy across all phases of the lifecycle (e.g., planning, development, launch, management, exit). · Creates and drives goal alignment and collaborates across one or more products' value chain partners to optimize margins and enable success of products per plans across the product lifecycle. (ie. Engineering: product development, Supply Chain: SKUs, inventory and Marketing: marketing and pricing strategies and Go To Market Plan). About You · Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field of study. A Typical Day: - Develop and maintain a product vision, strategy, and roadmap. - Synthesize feedback and translate it into compelling product features. - Craft the product narrative for internal teams and leadership, and the public-facing messaging that brings features to market. - Define pilot goals with clearly measurable objectives and key results. - Build alignment across product teams, cross-functional partners, and leadership. - Develop expertise through user research, marketplace data, and competitive analysis. - Execute with speed and quality to ship features, learn and iterate, delivering impact. - Make prioritization decisions in the best interests of our users, ensuring every part of the trip makes the other parts stronger. - Foster open communication and curiosity Your Expertise: - 8+ years of consumer product management experience. - Track record of building and scaling new product offerings that are a part of consumer products that people love. - Strong business acumen and ability to use data, research, and consumer insights to drive product strategy and decisions. - Experience translating user needs and business objectives into roadmaps that drive growth. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills across business, partnership, engineering, design, data science, and other cross-functional teams. - Experience developing product messaging and working with marketing and communications to bring features to market. - Comfortable doing hands-on individual contributor product work and mastering the details in a scrappy environment. - Demonstrated curiosity and point of view on incorporating AI tools into the product workflow. Your Location: We are open to candidates in multiple locations, but we ask that you are able to work Pacific Time Zone work hours as needed. This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
