Senior Contracts and Procurement Administrator

SPS - Systems Products Solutions, Inc.

Senior Contracts and Procurement Administrator We are seeking a Sr. Contracts & Procurement Administrator to manage the lifecycle of government and commercial contracts and procurement activities. This role ensures compliance with applicable regulations while supporting efficient contract execution and purchasing operations. Location: Huntsville, AL (preferred); remote (potentially) Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other applicable regulations - Monitor contract performance, funding, deliverables, and key milestones - Maintain contract policies, procedures, workflows, and templates - Support proposal development and contract documentation; reviewing solicitations (RFPs, RFQs) - Execute procurement activities including requisitions, RFQs/RFPs, evaluations, and purchase orders - Interface with government customers and prime contractors - Manage contract changes, claims, and closeout activities - Provide guidance on contract terms, rights, obligations, and dispute resolution - Maintain contracts and procurement records and documentation (i.e. renewals, expirations, deliverables) - Conduct price/cost analysis and support supplier negotiations - Manage supplier relationships and performance - Track purchase orders, invoices, and deliveries - Administer complex Contracts, Subcontracts GSA schedules, NDAs, teaming agreements, and modifications - Administer complex contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M, IDIQ) - Ensure procurement compliance with contract flow-down requirements and company policies - Adhere to the company AS9100 and QMS policies, procedures and guidelines - Perform other duties as assigned in support of business objectives Education/Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Contracts or related field (or equivalent experience) - 5+ years of experience in government contract and procurement - Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and government compliance requirements - Experience with contract types such as CPFF, FFP, T&M and IDIQ - Experience with GSA Schedule/Task Order Administration - Demonstrated experience negotiating contracts and managing suppliers - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment - Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain
