Mid-level Data Engineer

• Development and maintenance of data solutions • Contribute to analysis, pipeline development, and generation of strategic insights • Work with large volumes of data, supporting data-driven decision making • Support the analysis and interpretation of complex data • Develop and evolve data models (Star Schema, Snowflake, etc.) • Build and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) • Orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow • Develop scripts in Python, SQL, and/or Scala • Work with data in Cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure) • Create dashboards and data visualizations (Power BI or similar) • Perform data cleaning, processing, and preparation • Support improvements in query and process performance • Collaborate with business and technology teams to understand requirements

Job Requirements

  • Experience in data engineering or data analysis (mid-level)
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Knowledge of data modeling and relational databases
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS or Azure)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI or similar)
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Apache Spark
  • Familiarity with version control (Git)
  • Understanding of statistics and data analysis
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
