The Product Design & Manufacturing (PD&M) Specialist II works closely with the engineering and VDC teams to maximize efficiency, quality, as well as support and training of users and consumers where needed. This position is responsible for providing top notch production support, technical support, documentation, training, and development to all Inventor and Vault users and consumers, Including engineering, Excellerate and the field operations. Ideal candidates must be proficient in the use of Bluebeam Studio or other pdf document markup software, be proficient in the use, troubleshooting, and training of Inventor, Vault and other Autodesk Suite software. Candidates must have a strong knowledge of Inventor iLogic, modeling practices, as well as Vault Client and Vault Thin Client and be able to communicate and train well. Must have some experience in tool/add-in creation. This position must have knowledge in large model management and practices and be able to support the engineering/design team as needed to ensure large project deliverables are met. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Associates Degree in a technology field or Experience: 5 years of Inventor, 3 years of Vault, and Advanced Knowledge of iLogic required, Visual Basic programming is a plus, Advanced knowledge of inventor content center and custom part creation is required. Travel: 5-15% Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Schedule may vary and can include, but is not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Provides Inventor, Vault, and other software support. - Provide training/education to both software users and consumers as needed. - Content creation: Content Center, Templates, complex parametric models. - Implements and trains company CAD Standards and programs. - Manages and trains on various software tools/add-ins. - Works with specialists in various other software to ensure alignment across platforms. - Researches and develops tools, add-ins, scripts, automations, and workflows as assigned. - Provides feedback on individual areas, including technology improvements, standards, and workflow improvements. - Leads a small team of other specialists in tasks assigned as directed. - Assists in the modeling and detailing of projects if needed. - Develops relationships with leaders and/or others that facilitate open dialogue and trust. - Demonstrates the ability to plan for, complete, and implement assignments and responsibilities in a timely manner. - Demonstrates an acceptance of the company culture (adhere to the company's core values) and an adoption of professional standards. - Demonstrates approachability and ability to collaborate with others and effectively influence. - Actively participates in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate. - Performs other related duties as required and assigned. The opportunity The Military Benefit Specialist I processes military education benefits for the Student Financial Service's military education benefit team.
