Summary As a Remote Medical Claims Analyst (US) at Gainwell, you will support Workers’ Compensation operations by reviewing, organizing, and maintaining medical and case-related information to ensure accurate processing and compliance. This role plays a key part in analyzing documentation, supporting case workflows, and contributing to timely and accurate outcomes for our clients. You will work in a structured, detail-oriented environment where efficiency and quality are critical to success. Your role in our mission - Review and organize medical documentation, including procedure and diagnosis codes, to support case management activities - Utilize Excel (filtering, sorting, and basic data analysis) to manage and track case information efficiently - Maintain accurate and timely documentation across systems and workflows - Support case processing by identifying missing or incomplete information and ensuring follow-up actions are completed - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on case status and processing requirements - Apply attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and compliance with established guidelines - Manage workload effectively to meet productivity and quality expectations What we’re looking for - High School Diploma or GED required - Basic knowledge of medical terminology, including procedure and diagnosis codes - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (filtering, sorting, and basic data handling) - Strong verbal and written communication skills, including professional email communication - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines - High attention to detail and accuracy when working with medical and claims data What you should expect in this role - Fully remote position within the United States - Standard work schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (with some flexibility) - Work closely with a major client in New York supporting Workers’ Compensation processes - Video interviews are required (camera on), including during the first week of orientation The deadline to submit applications for this posting is April 14, 2026. #LI-REMOTE #LI-JA1 #LI-CM1 The pay range for this position is $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
