• As a Software Engineer II (Analyst), you will be responsible for automating repetitive tasks, streamlining the software development lifecycle, and optimizing deployment processes to enable faster and more reliable software releases. • You will analyze existing engineering processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. • With guild insights you will collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement process improvements, optimize code review processes, and implement continuous integration and delivery best practices. • You'll be working on a team of U.S. and Brazil-based technologists.

The Role We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in server-side rendered React, TypeScript and modern backend frameworks including Node.js and C#/.NET, to architect and deliver our AI-driven applications. This role requires strong experience building high-performance SSR frontends with a focus on first-load optimization, hydration, accessibility, and scalable component architecture. You will design and evolve cloud-native services in Azure, implement robust CI/CD pipelines, and ensure observability and operational excellence across environments. The ideal candidate has experience designing distributed systems, working with both document and relational databases, mentoring engineers, and partnering cross-functionally to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions. The Responsibilities - AI-First Development: Implement AI-driven features across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability of our applications. - Frontend Development: Build high-performance, server-side rendered React applications using TypeScript, emphasizing first-load optimization, accessibility and scalable component design. - Backend Development: Design, implement, and maintain backend services using C#/.NET and Node.js, ensuring robust APIs and services that integrate with AI models and databases. - Database Architecture: Design and optimize data models across document and relational databases, focusing on indexing strategies, performance tuning, and scalability at production scale. - Infrastructure as Code: Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to deploy and manage cloud resources on Azure, ensuring efficient and reliable cloud infrastructure. - Cloud Deployment: Build and maintain cloud-native applications with Azure services, ensuring high availability, security, and cost-effectiveness. - CI/CD Pipeline: Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes. - Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to deliver end-to-end AI-powered features. - Mentorship: Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, provide code reviews, and contribute to the professional growth of team members. - Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest trends in AI, cloud computing, and software engineering best practices, and propose innovative solutions to improve the development process.

• Support product and services development across divisions aligning to the MD&A GT strategy • Understand the competitive technical limitations of the GT business and develop a strategy to close those gaps as required by product leadership • Provide technical support as needed to all gas turbine divisions with interpretation of design criteria, evaluation, and resolution of field and shop issues • Lead and support Root Cause and Corrective actions following MD&A RCA process, including containment, root cause investigation, corrective action development, and validation • Support enhancement of the documentation and configuration control methods in use by the MD&A gas turbine divisions • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve company goals • Contribute to building a positive cross division team spirit and maintain a continuous improvement mindset • Communicate effectively with subordinates and management at all levels • Travel up to 30% to MD&A GT locations and HQ, and occasionally to MD&A job sites
