While we are mostly a remote company, travel is required for some team meetings and cross function projects typically once per month or once per quarter, for some roles like sales or external facing roles travel could be up to 90% of the time. About the Opportunity We’re seeking a Software Engineer III with strong fullstack skills to help scale and evolve our enterprise-grade platform for quantitative computer-aided diagnosis. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to the development of secure, reliable, and maintainable systems, delivering high-impact features and improving the foundation that powers our healthcare solutions. The Operational System team owns the Core Lab Case Management platform, which is the central nervous system of our laboratory operations. We build the workflows that orchestrate the lifecycle of each case, ensuring that complex case data moves seamlessly through the lab and is categorized and prioritized correctly. By optimizing how cases are processed, we ensure our operations remain scalable and our COGS grows efficiently, not linearly, alongside our business. Responsibilities - Develop scalable backend services (Node.js, TypeScript) and performant user-facing applications (React, Next.js). - Build performant, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces with modern UI frameworks (Ant). - Write testable, observable, and maintainable code that meets our performance and quality standards. - Participate in system design reviews and propose practical, scalable improvements. - Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teammates in an agile team to deliver reliable solutions to stakeholders. - Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and shared engineering standards. - Participate in on-call rotations and assist with triaging production issues. Requirements - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 5–8 years of professional experience as a software engineer, including fullstack development. - Proficiency in React, CSS, Node.js, and TypeScript. - Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs. - Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL. - Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, system design, and debugging. - Ability to take ownership of medium-to-large features and follow through from idea to production. - Effective communication and collaboration skills, especially in distributed environments. Preferred: - Familiarity with regulated domains (e.g., healthcare, fintech) and high-availability infrastructure. - Experience with containerized cloud environments (Docker, AWS ECS/EKS), CI/CD automation, and infrastructure as code. - Exposure to event-driven architecture or microservices with asynchronous workflows. The base salary range for this role varies by location and is aligned to market benchmarks. - Candidates located in higher-cost labor markets, including California, Washington, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Washington, DC represent the middle to high end of the range, while candidates located in all other U.S. locations represent the low to middle end of the range. - Final compensation is determined based on location, experience, skills, and internal equity. This role is eligible for a 10% target annual bonus, resulting in the following base salary and Total Target Compensation (TTC) ranges: - Base Salary: $129,000 - $152,000 - TTC: $142,000 - $168,000 *Total Target Compensation (TTC): Total Cash Compensation (including base pay, variable pay, commission, bonuses, etc.) Additionally, stock options, paid benefits, and employee perks are part of your total rewards. Role Description This role is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of AI-powered features across Park Street's cloud-native platforms. The Senior Software Engineer — AI-Native Products operates across the full stack, owning work from the Next.js UI layer down to AWS infrastructure, with particular depth expected on the backend. There are no separate frontend and backend tracks; the expectation is full-stack ownership and the judgment to know when to go deep. The ideal candidate is adaptable, self-driven, proactive, motivated, and eager to learn, with hands-on experience building production AI features and a working practice built around AI coding tools. This role contributes directly to the quality, reliability, and evolution of the platforms that serve Park Street's clients and internal teams.
