Raytheon is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our Digital Technology Analytics & Automation Applied Artificial Intelligence team. What You Will Do: As a Senior Principal Data Scientist, you will work across functional areas to support the application of data science and software engineering methods and techniques for production-scale internal use and external research. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Raytheon, RTX, and the Applied Artificial Intelligence team to develop analytic products for agile delivery, spanning manufacturing, engineering, business development, and supply chain functions. This role allows you to influence organizational standards by researching and deploying technical solutions for customers as part of a broader ecosystem of machine learning and advanced analytics professionals. Qualifications You Must Have: - Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience - Experience with Python development (numpy, scipy, scikit-image, and scikit-learn) for integration into statistical and/or machine learning applications (beyond academic examples). - Experience with relational databases management and SQL development. - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
