Job Description We are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to build and establish Project Management capabilities from the ground up within our Engineering organization. This is a highly autonomous and strategic role for someone who enjoys creating structure where it doesn’t yet exist, partnering closely with technical teams, and defining how projects are planned, executed, and tracked. You will act as the foundational leader of Project Management, setting standards, processes, and ways of working for teams that currently operate without formal PM structure. This role will also lead the formation of a small PM team and serve as a key change agent across Engineering. 🛠️ Your key responsibilities - Design and implement Project Management processes, frameworks, and governance for engineering teams with no existing PM structure - Establish project delivery standards, cadences, rituals, and documentation practices aligned with Agile and Scrum principles - Act as the primary Project Management partner for Engineering, working across multiple teams and reporting lines - Drive adoption and consistent use of Jira and Confluence, defining workflows, reporting, and visibility standards - Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of technical projects, ensuring clarity of scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies - Build and lead a small Project Management team (initially 2 people, including a junior PM) - Coach and support engineering teams and stakeholders in project discipline, prioritization, and delivery best practices - Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing transparency on progress, risks, and improvement opportunities Qualifications 🎯 What we expect from you - Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Technical Project Manager in technology-driven environments - Strong background in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with practical, real-world application - Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence, including setting up workflows, boards, and reporting - Ability to build structure, processes, and teams from scratch - Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with engineering teams - Comfort operating with high autonomy and ambiguity, taking full ownership of outcomes - Advanced English (written and spoken), as this role interacts with global stakeholders - Availability to travel to São Carlos/SP when needed ⭐ Nice to have - Prior experience building or scaling a Project Management function or PMO - Experience leading or mentoring junior Project Managers - Background working with infrastructure, cloud, or engineering-heavy teams - Agile or Project Management certifications (CSM, PMP, PMI-ACP or similar) - Experience navigating organizational change and cultural transformation Additional Information At Serasa Experian, we believe that diversity is essential for a healthier and more innovative work environment, where everyone can share experiences and express their ideas. Role Description In this role, you are responsible for the primary channel through which our clients sell branded merchandise.
